Florence Griffith Joyner Elementary School Vision Florence Griffith Joyner Elementary School Professional Learning Community has established a mission, that promotes high expectations through the rigorous implementation of Common Core standards in a loving environment that reinforces positive student behavior.

 

Each member of the school community demonstrates a passion for teaching and learning that emanates from the learning environment to all students. As a result, all students have equal access to the curriculum based on students' learning strengths.

 

As a body of administrators, teachers, paraeducators, parents and staff members our aim is to empower students to curriculum mastery, equipping them to reach their personal levels of excellence as positive and productive members of a technology and information based society.
